Design thinking teams

Neuroinclusion is a complex task. We realise this. We are therefore going to use Design thinking. With four design thinking teams, we develop learning activities for four target groups in the Brainport region:

  1. Neurodivergent students in secondary education from the age of 12.
  2. Neurodivergent students in senior secondary vocational, higher vocational and university education up to 24 years old.
  3. Teachers and lecturers working in vo, mbo, hbo and wo.
  4. Professionals in the work field who are in contact with neurodivergent trainees, applicants and employees, such as HR managers, supervisors, recruiters and internship supervisors

As a team member one of the four WAVE Design Thinking Teams, you will work with a diverse team of (neurodivergent) trainees and students, lecturers, and professionals from the work field. You will contribute to the design and development of innovative learning activities for various target groups. Examples include support for neurodivergent individuals in their self-development and career competences, and learning activities for lecturers and work field partners to make education and work more inclusive.

Compilation of the four Design Thinking Teams

Each team consists of 6 to 8 team members, including the booster.

We aim for as much diversity as possible per team and are especially looking for:

  • Neurodivergent pupils/students: They bring in their personal experiences and needs.
  • Lecturers and study/career advisers: They have insight into teaching practice and the challenges faced by neurodivergent students.
  • Work field professionals: internship supervisors, recruiters, managers and HR managers contribute knowledge of the labour market and inclusive work practices.
  • Experts by experience: At least two experience experts per team who are themselves neurodivergent and can share their experiences (both student/student/lecturer/professional).

Are you a creative thinker and want to participate?

At the moment, we are only looking for neurodivergent learners! If you are interested but have not been a pupil for a while, be sure to make this known by filling in our contactform.
