We Appreciate, Value & Empower

Working with pupils, students, lecturers, teachers and the work field to contribute to an inclusive society where neurodivergent talent flourishes. That is WAVE's ambition.

WAVE is an innovative development place for neurodivergent talent, aimed at self-development and sustainable participation in the labour market. WAVE believes in the power of diversity, co-creation and leveraging experiential expertise to create inclusive learning and working environments.

Why WAVE?

Neurodivergent young people have more difficulty finding internship posts and first jobs. Their knowledge and skills are also more often underutilised when performing work. This leads to a double waste of talent: for the young people themselves, who cannot realise their full potential, and for society as a whole, which misses out on important perspectives, creativity and innovation. This has to change!

What does WAVE want?

  • Creating a social movement;
  • Teach neurodivergent youth (12 to 24 years old) to flourish from their uniqueness and embrace their neurodiversity;
  • Improve inclusive behaviour among education and field professionals to support this flourishing.

Our three pillars:

Meeting & connecting:
Working together towards an inclusive society with a diverse team of (neurodivergent) pupils, students, tutors, lecturers, teachers and professionals.

Developing talents:
from the principles of design thinking, we develop innovative learning activities with the aim of bringing all talents to fruition, including your own.

Making an impact:
Together, in small steps, start a movement that contributes to inclusion and reduced (self-)stigma of neurodivergent individuals. Small steps, big dreams.
